Be calm, chant N-tone in a state of meditation, thus Yiyuanti will appear and be elevated to a higher level because the N-tone is a symbol of Yiyuanti – a reflection in the sense of hearing.
When you reach a state in the N-tone chanting where you don't chant, but chant anyway; chant, but don't chant; keep chanting, without interruption; then the Yiyuanti state appears.
This state is formless and open, ling (meaning: more highly developed, conscious, effective, intelligent) and united with everything; this state is pure and clear, permeable and free; so pure and uninhibited; can reflect and respond. Its concrete properties and functions are innate knowledge (that is: every person knows from birth, the difference between good and evil, such knowledge is intuitive and not rational) and the ability to do good.
He is not there, but yet there everywhere; he cannot be used, but can be used for everything; he has nothing, but can own everything; he has no abilities, is capable of everything; he has no knowledge, but can know everything; he reflects nothing, but can reflect everything.
He is our own master, controls our life activities. He accompanies our everyday lives, but we are not aware of this because our attachments block him and thus do not make him appear. By chanting from the N-tone, we can make it appear and raise it to a higher level, so that Ling knowledge and Ling ability appear in it. This Ling knowledge and this Ling ability combine with the Qi of the human body or the Qi of the nature of the universe, then the Qi is the Hunyuan Ling Qi.
The Hunyuan Ling Qi has unlimited power: There is no microcosm into which he cannot penetrate; there is no macrocosm into which he cannot encompass; there is no distance he cannot reach; there is no height he cannot climb; there is no substance he cannot transform; there is no manifestation he cannot create; there is no energy, that he cannot walk; there is no energy that he cannot generate; there is no solid that he cannot destroy; there is no blockade that he cannot free; there is no poison that he cannot neutralize; there is no disease that he cannot fix; there is no catastrophe that he cannot remedy; there is no request, which he cannot promise; there is no wish which he cannot fulfill;there is nothing he cannot accomplish.
The reason he can do anything (ling) is because of the Ling knowledge and Ling ability in our body – this Ling is our own essential Ling. These are the Ling property and Ling function. This Ling is Ling of the human body, is Ling of the universe, man is Ling of the universe, is the highest evolution of the universe. This highest evolution is simultaneously in the universe. In the universe, this Ling unites and merges with the universe.
That's why we talk about Tian (heaven), Di (earth), Ren (man) and Yi (the Yiyuanti). The sky means the solar system, the galaxy and the universe and includes all substances and their Hunyuan Qi. Earth is our planet, including all substances, creations and their Hunyuan Qi. Humans we are with the Hunyuan Qi of the body, the Hunyuan Qi of the internal organs, the Hunyuan Qi of the Naoyuanti (brain of humans and animals) and the Hunyuan Qi of the Yiyuanti (only humans have this Qi, animals do not). There is a formless core in the middle. This nucleus is called a ling-yuan (ling unit).
The universe has evolved to the highest level so far and there is human Yiyuanti and in Yiyuanti there is Ling-Yuan. This development comes from the original Qi and is transforming to this day, step by step. The Ling Yuan of Yiyuanti is evolving to its highest level and is a spiral evolution from the original Hunyuan Qi. Therefore, Ling-Yuan can penetrate all substance levels in the universe and transform back to the original Hunyuan-Qi. Thus, we can better unite and merge with nature. We talk about Tian Di Ren Yi (the sky, the earth, man and the Yiyuanti) – Shong Rong Ling Hun.
The natural property, the unity of time and space, no matter what level, are fused together, are compatible, contain each other. But the Yiyuanti of humanity can act actively. It is capable of uniting and transforming with the Hunyuan Qi of the universe at the different levels. It has randomness and also decision-making ability. If you unite with a substance level, then transformation takes place there and reinforcement takes place there. We should more often feel and observe the fusion and state of union of Yiyuanti with the Qi of all creations. Because of its compatibility, no matter where, at what point in the human body, the unification state of the different levels of Hunyuan Qi is located.
We can sense with concentration: from the Yiyuanti to the human body, to all the creations of our Earth, to the solar system, to the galaxy, to the universe. Likewise, we can also feel the other way around: from the infinite vastness of the universe back to the galaxy, to the solar system, to Earth and back to the human body, from the human body back to the Yiyuanti. Through repetitive, purposeful sensing in this way, man opens himself to the Qi of nature and unites and merges with it. We humans are in Qi and Ling-Qi. At the same time, Ling-Qi is in the human body and heart.
The verses about unity are: The upper part of the head (Baihui) controls the body; the heart (consciousness) controls the Qi; Tian Di Ren Yi (Heaven, Earth, Man and Yiyuanti); Shong Rong Ling Hun. Shong means „thing in itself“ the unit of time and space. Ling is the function of the unit of time and space. Rong means the fusion into the Qi of all creations. After the merger and unification, a larger unit is created. This larger unit is called the Hun. Therefore, we should merge our bodies more often with all creations so that the body becomes more permeable and open. Thus, union takes place at the Qi level – a finer level – between the Qi of the body and the Qi of all creations.
In this process „thing in itself“, Rong – is fused and the function is Tong – permeable and open. That's why we say Shong Ling Rong Tong or Shong Rong Ling Tong. (The „thing in itself“ is a term that in modern epistemology is essentially influenced by Immanuel Kant's dualistic philosophy… – from Wikipedia) After Tong – permeable and open – and subsequent fusion and transformation, a larger Hunyuan unity emerges – that is why it is also called Shong Rong Ling Hun. The function and „thing in itself“ is a Hunyuan unit. This unit is called Shong – a unit of time and space. Yiyuanti is also this shong and unit. We call this “N”. We can chant Shong Rong Ling Tong and then NNN. We can also chant Shong Rong Ling Hun and then NNNNN.Chanting from the “N tone” can be short, especially if one does not yet perceive the Yiyuanti state. Then the short “N tone” has a better effect. After entering the Yiyuanti state, you can chant the “N tone” long and slower: NNNN. Chanting repeatedly “N-tone” – chanting from loud to quiet, chanting from quiet to just thinking – chanting repeatedly “N-tone”: NNNN.
